Dr. Jose Lopez

Internal Medicine

Dr. Lopez has been practicing medicine for more than 20 years, with an impressive career in internal medicine in the United States and abroad.

He is guided by the belief that medicine should be personalized to deliver the best outcomes for the unique needs of each individual, Therefore, he strives to build strong bonds with his patients that empower better results.

As the founder of Central Florida Total Healthcare, he is passionate about helping patients to live healthier and fuller lives through effective and convenient medical care.

Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Lopez comes from a family of physicians that inspired his love for medicine from a very early age. He has received several honors and awards throughout his tenure as a physician and is member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, and the American Society of Internal Medicine.

Arleen Vélez, APRN. Central Florida Total Healthcare

Arleen Velez

Arleen Velez has lived in the Kissimmee area for over 30 years. She obtained her BSN from the University of South Florida, Tampa, in 2017 and graduated from South University, GA, with her Master of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2023. Her first RN position at Orlando Health Hospital was in the Cardiovascular Unit. Her passion for knowledge and her drive to continue her education led her to pursue her master’s degree.

While attending graduate school, she worked part-time in the Electrophysiology Department at Orlando Health Hospital and the Cath Lab at one of Orlando Health’s sister facilities in St. Cloud, Kissimmee. She continues to pursue knowledge in holistic medicine and aesthetic innovations through certifications. She enjoys spending quality time with her family at the beach, on cruises, or watching television/movies.

Professionally, she believes that being a good listener in a non-judgmental way is a vital and powerful tool. It builds trust and facilitates the sharing of concerns, which is essential for approaching medical treatment and planning care. “I truly believe that my charismatic personality puts patients at ease and makes them less apprehensive,” enabling her to deliver tailored care.

Wildelys Santos is a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care, with a strong background in emergency medicine and urology. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she brings a unique cultural perspective and a deep commitment to serving diverse communities. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Catholic University of Puerto Rico and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University. Over the past 15 years, she has built a robust foundation in patient care, including 11 years as a Registered Nurse in the fast-paced environment of the Emergency Department and 4 years as a Nurse Practitioner.
Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Santos honed her critical thinking and clinical skills in the Emergency Department, managing a wide range of medical emergencies and providing immediate care to patients in critical situations. This experience instilled in her a deep understanding of patient needs and the importance of quick, effective interventions.

Transitioning to the role of Nurse Practitioner, she expanded her scope of practice, focusing on family medicine and gaining valuable experience in urology at the Veterans Affairs (VA). This diverse experience has provided her with a well-rounded perspective on healthcare, from managing chronic conditions in primary care to addressing specialized urological needs.

Ms. Santos is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and utilizing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes. With her strong background in emergency medicine and a passion for primary care and urology, she is dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of the community. Her education at the Catholic University of Puerto Rico and Walden University has provided a solid foundation for delivering holistic and culturally sensitive care.

Jessica Matos is more than just a member of the team; she’s family. Having worked alongside Dr. Lopez for over 12 years, she has been an integral part of the practice since its inception.
With more than 25 years in the medical field, Jessica’s expertise in health insurance and comprehensive knowledge of services are unmatched. Her Puerto Rican and Panamanian heritage, combined with her upbringing in New York, have instilled in her a love for travel, gastronomy, and diverse cultures.
Her passion for these interests is reflected in her work, where she brings dedication, empathy, and a touch of humor to everything she does. A graduate of a Medical Assisting program in 2000, Jessica is committed to providing the best possible care for every patient.

Director of Operations

Magaly Rodriguez serves as the Director of Operations at CFTHC, where she has played a key role, alongside Dr. Lopez, in the company’s rapid growth and expansion of services. With over 14 years of experience in the healthcare field, Magaly is driven by a deep passion for enhancing patients’ quality of life and improving the healthcare services they receive.
Her background includes working in a variety of medical specialties, from family medicine and urology to neurology and cardiology, giving her a broad understanding of the healthcare field.
A Puerto Rican native who has called Central Florida home for the past 10 years, Magaly holds a degree in Human Resources with a concentration in Labor Relations from the University of Puerto Rico and is also a certified medical biller.
She believes in creating a respectful, kind, and empathetic environment, fostering a more human-centered approach to healthcare for both her team and the patients they serve. Her leadership at CFTHC reflects this commitment to personalized care and improved services.

Maigualida Aguirre, known as “Mai” to her colleagues, is a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Office Manager at CFTHC. Originally from Venezuela, Mai moved to the USA in 2018 and quickly established herself as a key member of the team. Despite her relative youth, she has consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to navigate complex problems and contribute to the smooth operation of the office.
Mai’s commitment to personal and professional growth has allowed her to develop a strong skill set, making her an indispensable part of the administrative team.
Her enthusiasm for learning and her outgoing nature ensure that she is always seeking new opportunities for improvement. As part of the new generation of professionals at CFTHC, Mai plays an essential role in the corporation’s ongoing success.

Maria V. Alvarez is a highly skilled Venezuelan pediatrician with expertise in emergency medicine, neonatology, nutrition, and more. Since moving to Central Florida in 2018, she has become an integral part of our practice, known for her dedication, compassion, and patient-centered approach.
Affectionately known as “Vicky” by patients and colleagues, she is deeply valued for her kindness and unwavering commitment to providing the highest level of care. Her ability to connect with patients has made her a trusted and respected figure in our offices.
Beyond patient care, Vicky plays a crucial role in our administrative team at CFTHC. As the Lead Medical Assistant, she oversees a team of medical assistants and works closely with providers to manage medication pre-authorizations and other essential administrative processes.
With her dedication and expertise, Vicky continues to make a meaningful impact—ensuring both patients and healthcare teams receive the support needed to deliver exceptional care.
